Garry Jotter and the Magical Murders - Barrow Library, Saturday 4 February

Get ready to feel old, because ‘Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone’ turns 20 this year!

To celebrate, Barrow Library is delighted to announce an exciting, hilarious and deadly night of magical murder mystery.

Highly Suspect - Cumbria’s premier Murder Mystery Event Company will be performing at the Barrow Library event on Saturday 4 February at 7pm.  Tickets are on sale now.

The mystery has been written by a professional scriptwriter, and will provide a unique evening of entertainment, with a full cast of Cumbrian actors.

Ruth Prosser, Community Services Manager for Barrow said:

 “This is another example of how Barrow Library responds to its customers.  We have been inundated by people asking for more murder mystery nights and more Harry Potter events and this event has it all! Barrow Library is at the heart of our community and cares about providing quality events for everyone.”

The scene is set for a gripping night of entertainment�.

“Pigblisters Mystical School of Magic and Mystery is the first choice educational establishment for all young warlocks and witches, and home to the spell-casting world's most famous bespectacled child prodigy, Garry Jotter. But something sinister lies at the heart of the school, which threatens the lives of pupils and teachers alike.

When headmaster Grumbledum is found dead having been seemingly sawn in half everyone must unite to find the magical murderer before the mysterious nether-vault opens, releasing an ancient evil that could destroy the school forever!”

So whether you are a first class detective or a first time crime solver, we can guarantee you an unforgettable night of fun, frivolities and fatalities!
