Exciting plans to transform Carlisle Railway Station and its surrounds remain on track with the appointment of the contractors for design and build elements of the £20m Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal funded redevelopment works.
Local residents, businesses, students and visitors are again being given the opportunity to have their say on ambitious new proposals for a new campus for the University of Cumbria at the historic Citadels in Carlisle.
Works to develop a new temporary car park on the site of the former county council Lonsdale Building at the rear of the Citadel in Carlisle are now complete, and the car park will open to the public this Friday, 7 February at 12pm.
