Footway resurfacing planned for Currock Road, Carlisle
Cumbria County Council is informing residents that there will be footway resurfacing on Currock Road in Carlisle from Monday 5 September.
The works will take place between Currock Road and Bryan Fell Motor Garage and South-Western Terrace.
The works are planned to commence between 8.00am and 4.00pm from Monday 5 September for a period of approximately 18 business days (Monday to Friday).
To carry out the works safely and maintain traffic control it will be necessary to install a series of three-way and two-way traffic lights, which will unfortunately disrupt access at times. However, if residents require entrance to their property, then staff on-site can assist.
The county council has asked people to contact the Highways Hotline on 0300 303 2992, if they have any questions or queries.
Cumbria County Council would like to thank the community for their continued support and patience while we improve the highway network. Please accept the county councils apologises for any inconvenience caused by these improvements.
